As the Lean Leader of the GE Vernova repair shop, this position will work collaboratively with the factory and international teams, working with the global Lean team on LEAN-related activities to drive safer, more productive, and higher quality work environments. This role will assist in the planning and execution of the Lean strategy and metrics, providing support to various levels throughout the organization. This will ensure efficient production by using Lean tools to link project metrics to strategic objectives and maximizing utilization in limited factory areas.

As part of GE Vernova's company-wide LEAN production activities, this position supports continuous improvement of repair processes. This role also shares information and results of continuous improvement activities with overseas repair shops. In addition, as an individual, we collaborate with colleagues from various organizations around the world to challenge, learn and achieve results in a fun, efficient and failure-free way.

Track and update project milestones and help to identify and resolve issues,
Provide associates a good understanding of Lean tools and processes,
Ensure that project teams apply appropriate Lean tools and techniques,
Collect and analyze process data, help identify solutions, and implement improvements,
Link Lean activities to the business objectives and develop transformation plans in collaboration with site project teams,
Develop and communicate of best practices for continuous improvement methodology in a manner that influences organizational thought and behavior,
Lead value stream mapping, process flow and line balancing studies to identify bottlenecks and eliminate waste,
Develop and write policies and procedures for manufacturing processes, includes quality, production, paperwork flow, product flow and waste control,
Coordinate and facilitate Lean committee meetings,
Track and report key metrics on lean activities.

Ability to communicate/read/write in English (TOEIC 700pts or above)
Japanese language proficiency level N2-N1 or equivalent
A minimum of 2 yearsâ work experience in EHS execution at factory
Previous experience general industry environment
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Teams, Excel, Outlook, Power Point.
Demonstrated interpersonal relations and personnel management skills
Working knowledge in regulatory compliance, as well as all Japanese (local) agencies and Authorities requirements
