Why This Role Matters
As a KAM Aviation you will drive sales growth for new and retreaded aviation tires by expanding existing accounts and developing new business across all aviation market segments and act as the primary point of contact for key commercial airline accounts, building strong, long-term customer relationships. You will support Regional Aviation, General Aviation, and Corporate Jet business through collaboration with distributors, MROs, OEMs, and landing gear/wheel manufacturers.
What You’ll Do
- Drive sales growth for new and retreaded aviation tires by expanding existing accounts and developing new business across all aviation market segments
- Identify and pursue growth opportunities through market analysis, understanding customer needs, and assessing competitive dynamics
- Lead new business acquisition activities, including responding to RFPs, coordinating cross-functional teams, preparing proposals, and supporting contract negotiations
- Manage key customer relationships through regular engagement, pricing negotiations, and effective issue resolution
- Conduct fleet surveys and product performance analysis, ensuring optimal usage and maintenance in collaboration with product support teams
- Ensure accurate demand planning by collecting and aligning forecasts (monthly forecasts, AOP, Roadmap) with supply chain to support timely delivery
- Oversee order management and follow-up in coordination with Customer Service to ensure operational excellence and customer satisfaction
What We’re looking for
- 5–8 years of successful B2B sales experience in a technical environment (preferably within the aviation or automotive industry)
- Demonstrated experience in key account management and customer relationship development
- Experience working in a multicultural and international business environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
- Additional commercial, technical, or industry-specific certifications are considered an advantage
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret business data, identify trends and opportunities, and make fact-based decisions
- In-depth understanding of the aviation industry (preferably aviation tire segment), including competitive landscape and market dynamics
