Why This Role Matters:
This role ensures safe, reliable, and efficient manufacturing operations by delivering engineering solutions for production equipment and processes across manufacturing facilities in EMEA. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and improving manufacturing systems across critical areas such as Mixing, Component Preparation or Curing.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and support capital projects from specification and design through onsite installation and commissioning in EMEA

  • Support technology projects by developing technical solutions aligned with product and process requirements

  • Provide manufacturing plant support by collecting and analyzing data to support operational decisions

  • Coordinate project activities to ensure compliance with global Goodyear standards

  • Collaborate with regional teams to identify, develop, and implement best practices across EMEA plants

  • Manage project execution using structured tools, including risk identification and mitigation

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with equipment suppliers and external partners

What We’re Looking For:

Basic qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Science/Technology/Engineering field), with 5-8 years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, or capital project environments

  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical/electrical drawings and work with plant/machinery layouts

  • Experience working with vendors and supporting equipment specification, installation, and commissioning

  • Experience in cross-functional project delivery within manufacturing environments

  • Good communication skills in English

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with CAD tools (e.g. AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical) and knowledge of machinery systems including PLCs, sensors, hydraulics, and pneumatics

  • Understanding of machine safety standards, risk assessments, and functional safety principles
