Hexcel is currently seeking a Quality Engineer for our Parla location (Spain).

The selected individual will be responsible for, but not limited, to the following obligations: 

• Work in Continuous improvement projects as FOD, vision systems, scrap, Nadcap…in coordination with Process Engineers.
• Work with Satellite plants in standardization plans and closely with Production to implement” right first time” culture and “error-proofing initiatives” and improving understanding of customer requirements.
• Problem solving: Understand root cause of our main issues causing problems (customer rejections, complaints, internal NC’s, scrap, etc.)  and implement robust corrective actions and verify their effectiveness to avoid reoccurrence.
• Implement preventive actions and standardize learnt lessons/good practices across the lines.
• Customer claims management: working teams, answers to customers…Operators and new hires Quality trainings

Qualifications:

• Quality management systems (ISO 9001:2000- EN9100, NADCAP)
• Statistical or Six Sigma knowledge and advance level in data software’s.
• High skill level in written and spoken English (B2 LEVEL)
• Environmental awareness
• PVD Trainings, Ergonomics, emergency response, job risks and PPE use
