The Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) advances the discovery and sharing of scientific knowledge to benefit us all. As a biomedical research organization and philanthropy, HHMI supports a vibrant community of academic researchers, educators, students, and professionals. Together, we’re unlocking the fundamentals of biology and building an open, inclusive future for science.

We are actively seeking a Research Technician to join the lab of Dr. Jennifer Zallen at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City, NY. This individual will work as part of an interactive, multidisciplinary team of scientists working to understand how cells navigate through the body during development and how defects in these processes can lead to birth defects and cancer. We use cell biological, genetic, biophysical, computational, and live-imaging approaches to visualize cell and protein dynamics in living embryos. The long-term goal of this research is to leverage this information to build, repair, and regenerate tissues to treat human disease. More information can be found at the following website: https://www.hhmi.org/scientists/jennifer-zallen
