Department Manager

We have a great opportunity for a Department Manager to work at our warehouse in Mirfield.

As a Department Manager you will be tasked with overseeing the daily operations of Goods In & put-away across both Hardware and Chemical commodities.

You will manage the department's throughput and SLAs, ensuring the efficient flow of work, optimal utilisation of resources and adherence to safety and quality standards are met.

You will effectively communicate team goals and expectations, while fostering a collaborative environment and maintaining open lines of communication with your team.

Additionally you will evaluate and manage employee’s performance, providing constructive feedback and support.

About You

You will have at least two years demonstrable experience in a distribution, logistics, or warehouse team management role. 

You will have experience of monitoring throughput, adhering to and managing SLAs and dealing with escalations.

You will be enthusiastic about managing and developing a team of people, ensuring they deliver results to their best of their abilities.
