What you will do

Perform the inspection of sprinkler-based systems, and complete service calls and repairs on sprinkler-based systems. Must be able to work alternative shifts or weekends to meet customer and/or job requirements. Must perform all duties in a safe and professional manner. Must be willing to travel.

Company vehicle, tools, and equipment provided to complete all jobs.

How you will do it

· As a sprinkler Service/Inspection fitter, you will efficiently and neatly perform work on wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge sprinkler systems.

· You will maintain proper documentation for work performed and must adhere to company safety policies and procedures.

· You will be provided verbal and written instructions, as well as provide verbal and written instructions to apprentices.

· You will carry/move equipment and tools weighing up to 70lbs and be capable of performing physical labor.

· You will perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions, such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment.

· Exhibit effective customer service skills by consistently communicating with the branch staff and customers to ensure complete customer satisfaction.

· You will maintain a clean and safe work area.

· You will have a positive attitude and the ability to adapt quickly.

What we look for

· Sprinkler Fitter Red Seal Certified.

· Backflow Certification

· 5+ years of experience in Fire Sprinkler/Suppression industry.

· Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, submittals, and operational/product manuals.

· Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

· Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50-70 lbs.

· Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult position such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 40 feet, working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc.

· Ability to work flexible hours including weekends to meet customer requirements.

· Able to participate in an on-call rotation schedule.

· Overnight travel will be required.

· Demonstrate a high level of customer service.,

· Maintain truck inventory to ensure timely response to customer needs.

· Ability to adhere to, implement, and always follow safety guidelines and procedures.

· Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and an ability to learn quickly.

· Possess a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company requirements.

Pay Range: $52.35 hourly rate determined by the CBA/rate sheet. Benefits are provided through a local labor union aligned with a collective bargaining agreement.
