Purpose:
The Clinical Education Manager is responsible for developing and executing local clinical education initiatives that support the safe and effective adoption of the company’s products, technologies, and procedural solutions across Levant, Sub-Saharan Africa, Pakistan, Iran, and Maghreb markets.
Working closely with healthcare professionals, hospital stakeholders, commercial teams, and the Professional Education organization, the role delivers clinical training programs that enhance procedural competency, support customer adoption, and improve patient outcomes.
The Clinical Education Manager serves as the regional expert on customer educational needs, market dynamics, and clinical adoption trends within their assigned geography. By translating corporate strategy into localized educational activities, the role ensures clinical education investments are aligned with business priorities and customer requirements across diverse healthcare environments.
You will be responsible for:
Clinical Education Planning & Execution
Develop and execute local clinical education plans aligned with regional business objectives and market priorities.
Deliver clinical training programs for surgeons, nurses, operating room staff, and other healthcare professionals.
Coordinate and facilitate in-hospital training, procedural support activities, workshops, and hands-on educational programs.
Support the introduction and adoption of new products, technologies, and procedures through targeted clinical education initiatives.
Ensure educational activities are tailored to the specific needs and maturity of each market.
Customer Engagement & Needs Assessment
Develop a deep understanding of healthcare systems, customer needs, and clinical practice trends across Levant, Sub-Saharan Africa, Pakistan, Iran, and Maghreb markets.
Regularly engage with healthcare professionals and hospital stakeholders to identify educational gaps and opportunities.
Monitor customer feedback and emerging clinical trends to inform future educational priorities.
Act as a trusted partner to healthcare professionals seeking procedural and clinical development support.
Strategic Alignment
Translate regional and global business strategies into local clinical education activities.
Align educational investments with commercial priorities, growth opportunities, and strategic initiatives.
Partner with country leadership teams to ensure education plans support market development objectives.
Provide market insights and recommendations to Professional Education and commercial leadership teams.
Professional Education Collaboration
Partner closely with the Professional Education Manager to ensure alignment between regional education strategy and local execution.
Support faculty-led educational initiatives, fellowships, observerships, and Centers of Excellence activities.
Identify local faculty development opportunities and emerging clinical champions.
Assist in the implementation of regional and global educational programs within assigned markets.
Clinical Adoption & Customer Success
Support healthcare professionals during product implementation and procedural adoption phases.
Help customers achieve competency and confidence in the use of company technologies and solutions.
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to support account development initiatives through education.
Drive sustainable adoption by ensuring educational support extends beyond initial product introduction.
Cross-Functional Partnership
Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Professional Education, Medical Affairs, and Commercial Leadership teams.
Ensure educational activities comply with all applicable healthcare compliance, regulatory, and company requirements.
Support local market teams in identifying educational opportunities linked to strategic account plans.
Work with distributors and channel partners where applicable to extend educational reach.
Measurement & Continuous Improvement
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of local educational activities.
Track participation, competency development, adoption milestones, and customer satisfaction metrics.
Utilize data and field insights to optimize educational programs and resource allocation.
Share best practices and success stories across markets and regions.
Qualifications / Requirements:
Education
Bachelor’s degree required.
Degree in Nursing, Biomedical Sciences, Healthcare, Clinical Education, Life Sciences, or related field preferred.
Advanced degree preferred.
Experience
Minimum 5–8 years of experience in clinical education, nursing education, healthcare professional training, medical device clinical support, or related healthcare roles.
Experience working directly with surgeons, nurses, and hospital stakeholders.
Demonstrated experience delivering hands-on clinical education programs.
Experience within medical devices, healthcare technology, pharmaceuticals, or life sciences preferred.
Experience working across multiple countries and cultures within emerging markets is highly desirable.
