Essential Job Functions

Think and act from the perspective of not only providing better products but also creating a better medical environment.
Maximize sales opportunities by providing customers with product information in a timely manner.
Accurately handle transactions with customers such as orders and quotations.
Educate customers about product terminology, features and benefits to increase sales and customer satisfaction.
Monitor area sales trend and product performance results.
Follow all safety policies and procedures in order to maintain a safe working environment.
Follow all company policies, rules and regulations.
Comply with all company policies, including the company’s Code of Conduct, Fair Competition Code, Quality Policy, Environmental Management System, and other regulations under the Pharmaceutical Affairs Law.
Participate in academic conferences and research workshops, and assist in setting up events supported by Shockwave Medical.
Achieve organizational goals, including the sales budget.
Maintain a high level of professionalism and continuously strive to improve sales skills.
Be able to involve and utilize the talent of others to complete your project.
Maintain good relationships with doctors, engineers, purchasing managers, and other facility personnel in your area.
Provide information and training on the proper use of our products to health care professionals and other medical personnel.
Respond to customer feedback promptly, accurately, and in good faith.
Use the Concur system to provide detailed expense reports on a biweekly basis.
Take responsibility for the numerical and activity targets given to you, consult with the Sales Manager to clarify your efforts and take action to achieve them.
-Currently, report activities to the Sales Manager via SFDC and report actions on initiatives.
Participate in training to improve your skills and constantly improve your sales skills.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study required.
2+ years of experience in education, training, sales, or marketing in the med-tech space.
Previous cardiovascular domain experience highly preferred, ideally in coronary or peripheral vascular interventional medicine.
Experience with curriculum development and adult learning theory preferred.
Experience in prior field sales roles is preferred.
Experience developing and presenting innovative solutions to meet the business needs.
Ability to successfully work cross-functionally and with team members and vendors in the US and International markets.
Must be a team player, results-driven and solution-oriented.
Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent attention to detail, prioritization, organization, and deadline-driven management skills.
