Associate Product Manager Joint Reconstruction, Orthopaedics - German speaking region, Switzerland
For our Swiss Joint Reconstruction business, we are seeking a driven, customer-focused and communicative personality to join our successful team. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of key areas within the product portfolio and actively contribute to commercial success in the Swiss market. You will play a critical role in product launches, market development, and cross-functional collaboration while further strengthening your strategic and analytical capabilities in Product Management.

Objectives of the position:
- Own defined product groups and actively manage performance across the full product lifecycleÂ
- Act as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders and selected external partners, ensuring strong alignment across functionsÂ
- Contribute to and drive elements of go-to-market strategies and product launch plansÂ
- Lead or co-lead the execution of new product launches, ensuring timely and high-quality implementation in the Swiss marketÂ
- Partner closely with Sales teams to support commercial execution, drive product adoption, and achieve business targetsÂ
- Drive market segmentation, targeting, and product positioning based on customer insights and competitive dynamicsÂ
- Analyze KPIs, market data, and financial performance to identify growth opportunities and support decision-makingÂ
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, hospital decision makers, and internal partnersÂ
- Conduct in-depth market and competitor analysis to anticipate trends and identify risks and opportunitiesÂ
- Take ownership of selected projects (e.g. campaigns, trainings, events) and ensure successful executionÂ
- Collaborate cross-functionally with EMEA Marketing, Global Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain, and other key functionsÂ
- Ensure alignment with supply chain processes to support product availability and mitigate business risksÂ
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, quality standards, and healthcare regulations (e.g. HCC, legal, regulatory)Â
Qualifications
- Education/training in an orthopaedic OR environment or a degree (Uni / FH / ETH)Â
- 2+ years of professional experience in product management, marketing, or sales (medical devices preferred)Â
- Experience in orthopaedics or the healthcare industry is a strong advantageÂ
- German and English fluent (business level); French / Italian a plusÂ
- Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPointÂ
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insightsÂ
- Proactive and results-driven mindset with a high level of ownership and accountabilityÂ
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across functions and levelsÂ
- Ability to work in a cross-functional and international environmentÂ
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesÂ
- Adaptability and resilience in a dynamic, fast-paced environmentÂ
- Travel: 20–30%Â
Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopedics business to establish a standalone orthopedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals.
