Job Description
At LEGO Manufacturing Vietnam, Production Planner plays an instrumental role in the key planning process of the Company, namely Flow of Finished Goods. This position is responsible to smooth the daily operations without affecting the plan of the next weeks.
Key responsibilities:
Make detail plan to run each production lines in Pre-Pack, Final Pack factories in weekly basic, including change-over among different SKUs with best optimization.
Check and confirm production plan to align with shipment plan and factory calendar that meet both Production’s KPIs and Company’s KPI.
Closely monitor the output to ensure the execution by shift/ hours of the sequence of the Final pack, Pre-pack production follow the load plan which is released by planning team.
Re-balance through the week the production plan (Pre-Pack, Final Pack) in a shift basis to adapt with master plan in SAP.
Follow up the pre-pack plan, measuring and balance the manpower resource in terms of Pre-Pack Change overs.
Control and proceed to fully utilizing usage of manpower, tooling/machine and time in each line/department to meet production schedule.
Daily shop floor presence to clearly visualize the progress and problem of Production situation and quickly adapt in an ever changing.
Generate report summary (Daily/Weekly/Monthly) that follows current standard format.
Maintain stability in warehouse capacity through Pre-Pack Plan, focus on short planning horizon (2 weeks to 3 weeks continuously).
Provide priorities to production area when an issue arises (absence of labor resource from production and maintenance, shortage of material, etc.) providing direction of which production lines need to be prioritized in the shop floor area.
Alert to Materials Planning in case to have a shortage of material which is generated by a late delivery by a supplier, adjust the plan based on the best arrival date, advise the latest changes to the production planners.
Daily follow up with the partners of the deviations which affect to deliver product on time (OTIF, Schedule Adherence, Accomplishment) by identifying the root cause and trigger actions.
Do you have what it takes?
Graduated from College or University.
1 year experience in production planning processes including Inventory Analysis.
Experience working with SAP.
Fast response and problem solving methodology.
Must be highly proficient with MS Office (excel).
Have experience of Working in shift. Prefer candidate who is working in manufacturing industry.
Good interpersonal skills, positive attitude.
Able to communicate in English (speaking and writing) regarding planning scope of work.
