About Role

Treasury adds value through the strategic procurement of banking products and services, the global co-ordination of bank relationships, effective and efficient risk management and a commitment to innovation and operational excellence.  

An opportunity has arisen for a Treasury Analyst based in Sydney, reporting to the Treasury Director - Corporate. As part of this dynamic and highly supportive team, you will support risk, liquidity and funding activity to ensure the achievement of company objectives.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Support Group liquidity management strategy and Group financial risk management.

  • Co-ordination of group short-term liquidity forecasting and management of daily cash and surplus balances.

  • Support central execution of all hedging and management of group exposures in accordance with approved risk management plans.

  • Support execution of Group financings, associated reporting and operational process improvements, including automation.

  • Assist management of the Group’s banking relationships consistent with the Lendlease Group bank relationship plan, and debt investor relations activities

  • Develop and manage constructive relationships with internal customers and stakeholders.

  • Support the regions and business segments in the strategic management of the global risk and liquidity task.

  • Analytical and modelling support for Group Treasurer & Treasury Director, Corporate in relation to Board and ALCO presentations, debt offering materials and roadshow presentations, funding and risk management plans, bank relationship management, credit rating management and other special projects as required.

  • Support implementation of treasury projects and process improvements.

  • Support other treasury staff on transactions, liquidity and risk management execution as required.

About You

You will have undergraduate qualifications in economics, finance, commerce or finance law.  Honours or double degree (especially finance / law) or relevant postgraduate qualifications will be well regarded.

You will have at least 3+ years’ experience in treasury within a corporate, real estate, banking or financial services environment.

We’re looking for applicants with a strong focus on delivering for the businesses, and who can communicate and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. You will have an excellent eye for detail, a strong commercial orientation and a proactive attitude to your work.
