About the Role

We’re looking for a motivated Sustainability Coordinator to join the Sustainability team at Lendlease, supporting our Investment Management business. The role can be based in Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne.

In this role, you’ll play a key part in delivering sustainability outcomes across our portfolio, supporting data management, reporting, and the implementation of ESG initiatives aligned to our Mission Zero ambitions. You’ll work closely with Fund Managers, Asset Managers and Operations teams to help embed sustainability across our assets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of sustainability initiatives across investment portfolios.

  • Assist in collecting, validating and managing sustainability data to ensure accuracy and completeness.

  • Contribute to ESG reporting for investors, including GRESB, NGERS, ASRS and internal reporting requirements.

  • Support monitoring and reporting of decarbonisation performance.

  • Partner with asset teams to drive resource efficiency and sustainability outcomes.

  • Assist in developing and implementing asset-level sustainability strategies.

  • Prepare case studies and communications showcasing sustainability achievements.

  • Engage stakeholders to build awareness and capability in ESG fundamentals.

  • Collaborate with property managers and external partners to achieve sustainability objectives.

About You

  • You’re an early-career sustainability professional with a passion for ESG and the built environment, looking to grow your experience in a high-performing team.

  • Degree in environmental science, engineering, business, or a related discipline.

  • Experience in sustainability and/or property industry.

  • Understanding of sustainability metrics, data and reporting frameworks.

  • Familiarity with rating systems such as GRESB, NABERS, or Green Star.

  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Proactive, collaborative mindset with the ability to manage competing priorities.
