We are seeking a passionate and driven State Manager who thrives on leadership, builds strong connections, and brings energy to an international premium brand. 

About the Role: 

As our State Manager, you will report into the Retail Operations Manager. You will build a strong and consistent in-store presence, with frequent time spent across the portfolio You will partner closely with the Store Manager’s across Victoria to drive store performance, elevate the customer experience, and develop a high-performing team of Chocolate Ambassadors. 

You will do this by: 

• Lead & Inspire Teams by coaching and developing Store Managers, building a high-performance, accountable and engaged team culture. 

• Deliver sales, budgets and KPIs through strong operational execution and performance management. 

• Oversee Multi-Site Operations – ensure consistency across stores in customer experience, visual merchandising, rostering, and operational standards. 

• Enhance Customer Experience - Champion a premium, world-class service culture and respond effectively to customer feedback. 

• Maintaining Visual Excellence – ensuring strong VM execution and that all stores are merchandised in line with marketing guidelines 

• Develop Talent and Capability, lead recruitment, succession planning, and ongoing training to build strong talent pipelines. 

• Ensure Compliance, safety and maintain adherence to WHS, food safety, and company policies through audits and governance. 

• Oversee costs, analyse performance data, and drive efficiencies across the portfolio. 

What We’d Love You to Bring: 

• Proven experience in multi-site retail or hospitality leadership 

• Experience managing large, geographically dispersed teams 

• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering results 

• Exceptional leadership and stakeholder engagement skills 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability 

• Ability to influence, coach, and drive accountability 

• Strong presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire at all levels 

• Solid understanding of retail operations and performance drivers 

• Retail or Hospitality qualification (preferred) and Food Safety Supervisor certification (desirable)
