Staff Data Scientist

You will:

• Design and deploy advanced machine learning models, entity resolution techniques, and graph algorithms to enhance the accuracy and reach of our identity graphs.

• Mine and manipulate large, complex datasets to discover latent patterns, generate high-dimensional embeddings, and improve our data collaboration product capabilities.

• Partner closely with Data Engineering and Infrastructure teams to translate sophisticated mathematical and ML concepts into highly optimized, distributed production pipelines (e.g., BigQuery, Spark).

• Provide technical guidance to a team of Data Scientists, ML Engineers and Software Engineers, modeling data science best practices.

• Work closely with Product Management, Engineering, and Data Science teams to translate ambitious product requirements into actionable, high-impact data science problems to solve.

Your team will: 

• Work on multiple data science problems, including Identity solutions, agentic solutions and other customer facing products.

About you: 

• MS or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).

• 5+ years designing and building large scale data science models in a production setting.

• Excellent written and verbal communication for both technical and non-technical audiences; strong influence skills across teams.

• Proficiency with Python and SQL and relevant ML libraries.

• Experience with Cloud Platforms such as GCP.

• A product-focused mindset and a strong bias for an iterative execution - you move quickly from idea to prototype to production.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with embedding and vector search at scale.

• Experience designing robust evaluation framework metrics.

• Ability to look at raw data assets and abstractly visualize how they can be leveraged, combined, or transformed to build net-new capabilities for the business.

• GCP + Vertex AI (Gemini) experience.

• Knowledge of privacy-preserving data practices and governance.

The approximate annual base compensation range is $200,000 to $235,000. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package and benefits, will be determined by a number of factors including the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, geography, as well as internal equity among our team.
