Position Duties

The Department of Physics at Loyola University Maryland is seeking a per course affiliate instructor for Fall of 2026 to teach up to two sections of PH101: Introductory Physics with Lab. Lecture to meet Monday, Wednesday, Friday at 11am and 12pm, with corresponding labs meeting Monday and Wednesday from 2pm to 4:30pm.

Per course instructors generally teach one or two courses per semester and serve as the instructor of record for an academic class. Responsibilities include but are not limited to course design, syllabus construction, lecture delivery, classroom management, grading, and supervising students.

The only required document is a CV.

Compensation Range:

$6,000.00 - $6,750.00 per course

Master's, Doctoral degree or equivalent.

Final compensation offers are determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, job-related experience, internal equity, and alignment with organizational budget.

Successful candidates for any staff, faculty, or administrative position at Loyola University Maryland will be subject to a pre-employment background check.
