Associate People Services Advisor (6 months contract)

Coordinates and administers a variety of programs and activities across multiple HR areas for a small sized/and or junior employee population. Works in a fairly clear and defined internal environment of low complexity and is involved in common tactical local HR issues and processes.

Note: This is a 6-month contract role to provide maternity leave cover, ensuring continuity of HR operations and service delivery across the region.

The role:

As a People Services Advisor, you will help drive our goals by:

• Act as the tier 1 support for HR transactional and advisory queries, providing guidance to employees and line managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.

• Manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, confirmation, employment changes, transfers, promotions, and offboarding processes.

• Support payroll processing by ensuring accurate and timely submission of payroll inputs in line with statutory requirements.

• Maintain and manage employee records, including attendance, leave, and other personnel data.

• Ensure compliance with local labor laws and internal HR policies.

• Support HR projects and initiatives as required, ensuring operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:

• Proven experience in HR operations and advisory roles

• Strong knowledge of employee lifecycle management and HR practices

• Familiarity with local employment laws, Employee Relations (ER) and statutory requirements

• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and currently based in Malaysia
