Senior Member of Technical Staff - III, Software

Role Summary

Key Responsibilities

Design, Development & Testing
Own and execute end‑to‑end design, development, unit testing (UT), and integration testing (IT) for telecom software solutions.
Translate customer requirements into high‑quality, scalable, and maintainable software.
Implement industry best practices, including secure coding, code reviews, and performance optimization.
Programming & Tools
Strong hands‑on experience in C++ development.
Working knowledge or exposure to Go (Golang).
Proficient in Bitbucket for version control and branching strategies.
Experience with CI/CD automation pipelines to support continuous integration and deployment.
Telecom Domain Expertise
Experience working in Telecom IMS (3G & 4G).
Good understanding of Packet Core components, architectures, and protocols.
Agile Delivery
Actively participate in AGILE/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and delivery.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams for seamless integration and delivery.
Leadership & Mentoring
Although an individual contributor role, the candidate should proactively guide and mentor team members whenever needed.
Contribute to technical discussions, solution reviews, and troubleshooting complex issues.
 

Job Requirements

10–12 years of experience in Telecom software development
Strong programming skills in C++, with exposure to Go
Experience with Bitbucket, CI/CD tools, unit & integration testing frameworks
Knowledge of IMS (3G/4G) and Packet Core
Agile development experience
Strong problem‑solving and debugging skills
Ability to deliver independently with minimal supervision
