Position Summary:
This position is responsible for assisting employees with the usage of the Fitness Center while providing superior customer service.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities: includes but not limited to:
- Checks employees and Tribal Members into the Fitness Center
- Processes Fitness Center enrollments/cancellations
- Assists members with exercise equipment and enforces company policies pertaining to the proper usage of the Fitness Center
- Washes, folds and hands out towels
- Maintains and ensures the cleanliness of the exercise areas and locker rooms
Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists the Fitness Center Shift Manager with wellness and intramural sports programs
- Sells beverages, movie tickets and miscellaneous event tickets to employees
Minimum Education and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One year of general office experience
- Previous customer service experience
- Basic computer skills
Competencies: Incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position:
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Knowledge of the various types of exercise equipment
Training Requirements:
- Personal Trainer Certification
- CPR Certified
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Must be able to assist employees with the proper use of exercise equipment
- Must be able to lift up to 45 lbs.
- Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours
