Position details

To perform application development on Data Management Systems across MUFG Bank EMEA and MUS International. The individual is to work as the senior developer for applications within the DEBI (Data Engineering and Business Intelligence) BAU team which develops various applications and manages the project deliveries.

Roles and Responsibilities

Delivery:

• Perform advanced ETL development activities using Informatica, PL/SQL, Oracle Database tuning, SQL tuning
• Oracle and SQL Server experience from the development perspective (database and application).
• Develop and enhance ETLs from various sources to Oracle and SQL server data warehouse
• Plan and conduct Informatica ETL unit and development tests.
• Design, implement, test and maintain ETL components for multiple applications.
• Provide post-production application support as required.
• Provide data analysis to support new project definition/design to troubleshoot/resolve issues with existing subject areas
• Work independently or as part of a team to deliver data warehouse ETL projects
• Follow established standards and best practices and provide input for improvement of those processes

• Ensure all activity fully complies with the appropriate policies, procedures and controls
• Strict adherence to change management and privileged production access management processes

Job Requirements:

The Ideal candidate will be working part of team in developing complex ETL codes and we are looking for a person who has strong experience (7+ years) working as part of large-scale teams developing applications.

• ETL Tools: Informatica 10.x
• Database: Oracle, SQL Server
• Batch Job scheduler like Control M (preferred)
• PowerShell, Plsql, SQL server Stored Procs.
• Cloud: Snowflake (good to have)
• Versioning And Deployment: GIT, DA
• Experience in application development, database development and system support.

Functional / Technical Competencies:

• Knowledge of the IT infrastructure (for example, hardware, databases, operating systems, local area networks) and the IT applications and service processes used within a Financial Services organization.
• Required to have a good understanding of software development methodologies.
• Good Data analysis and SQL
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Possess good verbal and written communication skills.
