Summary: 
NCR is looking for a highly talented Software Quality Engineer for its Hospitality - Cinema division. You will be responsible for test planning, designing, executing and maintaining test cases using a deep understanding of the business logic of complex systems in Agile environment. 

Details: 
Play a key role as Lead Test Engineer for NCR’s Cinema Solutions in the Hospitality Services Industry. Primary responsibility is to ensure high quality software solutions as a contributing member of a highly motivated team of Engineers. This individual will serve as the Manual Quality Assurance Lead role on an Agile team.

Role is for a customer dedicated team with ambitious goals, we are looking for a motivated and skilled individual who:
- Work closely with software developers, architects, and other QA engineers to deliver high quality products in a timely and cost-effective manner within the Agile development process and ensure product - quality, robustness, scalability and consistency
- Collaborate with teams and stakeholders to identify system requirements, the scope of testing and maintain the Traceability matrix
- Collaborate with other QA Engineers to develop effective test strategies and test plans
- Setup and maintain test environments with required data, software and hardware configurations and simulators
- Estimate work effort for stories and epics, and ensure the milestones are successfully completed
- Create test documentation such as test plan, test scripts and test exit summary report
- Ensure that testing activities and deliverables are accurate and correctly reflect the quality of the software, using JIRA to record test results and track defects
- Ensure full traceability and coverage of test scripts
- Manage defects working with developers and SME’s to help them understand the severity and priority of the defects
- Gain deep understanding of the product, do initial analysis, issue reproduction and respond on expected functionality and flow
- Defect and issue identification, logging, tracking, resolution and reporting
- Design new processes or change existing processes to improve test engineering
- Develop, maintain and use tools and utilities in functional, system, scalability, performance, load and ad-hoc test scenarios
- Monitor test execution progress and provide metrics and reports to management

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
- 6+ years of experience in Software Testing

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS: 
- Exhibit a good understanding of Software Development and Quality Assurance best practices
- Proficient in gathering requirement and creating test stratgies and plan
- Thoroughly knows DLC(Defect Life Cycle) and STLC (Software testing life cycle)
- Experience in developing and executing Functional, Integration and end-end scenario test cases to validate business, system and operational requirements
- Experience in testing RESTful web services and backend APIs, JSON and XML
- Strong working experience in Postman / JMeter
- Moderate knowledge of database structures and SQL
- Basic knowledge of computer networking and peripherals configuration like printer
- Familiar with JIRA or similar issue management and tracking systems
- Working knowledge of test management software (e.g. qTest, Zephyr)
- Experience with testing systems in consideration of performance, responsiveness, concurrency, availability, supportability

OTHER BENEFICIAL SKILLS: 
- Formal test qualification, e.g. ISTQB, ISEB, CAST, TMap, etc.
- Knowledge of Smart Bear TestComplete Automation Suite
- Knowledge of source control tools (TFS, Git)
- Basic knowledge of scripting languages like Javascript
