About this role

The position as Supply Chain Assistant has the responsibility of supporting the Supply Chain Specialist in coordinating the supply chain activities for the assigned drilling rig(s). The main priority of the role is day to day purchasing (expediting RFQ’s, PO’s and invoice matching). The position ensures timely delivery of equipment, spare parts, rentals, services and supplies.

Your responsibilities

  • Support the Supply Chain Specialist in daily supply chain operations for assigned rigs
  • Expedite POs (Purchase Orders) and RFQs (Requests for Quotation) and follow up with suppliers
  • Assist with invoice matching and processing
  • Track and coordinate shipments
  • Support the full Procure-to-Pay process for spares and services (including RFx and invoices)
  • Plan, execute, and follow up on goods purchases
  • Monitor the Posting Proposal queue to ensure timely invoice payments
  • Ensure compliance with SOPs, participate in meetings (including after hours if required), and handle ad-hoc tasks

Our Requirements

  • A formal education with minimum a bachelor level degree or equivalent within relevant field(s)
  • 0-2  years’ experience within Purchasing preferably within the Oil & Gas industry
  • Solid command of English (B2+) both written and spoken
  • Good communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Teams, Power Point)
