The Head of HFS Client Services (APAC) is a senior leadership role responsible for driving client service excellence, commercial outcomes, and operational scalability across Hedge Fund Services business in Asia-Pacific.Â
This role leads the APAC Client Services organization (Relationship Managers and Client Service Managers) and is accountable for end-to-end client experience, regional growth, and alignment to global HFS strategy, while ensuring strong local market engagement.Â
The position partners closely with global business and services leadership to deliver a consistent, high-quality client experience across regions, aligned to an integrated operating model.Â
Key ResponsibilitiesÂ
1. Client Leadership & Service ExcellenceÂ
- Own and enhance the end-to-end client experience across APAC client baseÂ
- Serve as senior escalation point for key client relationshipsÂ
- Drive client satisfaction, retention, and reference abilityÂ
- Ensure consistent execution of service reviews, governance frameworks, and feedback loopsÂ
- Develop deep collaborative relationships with global service leaders and champion a client-centric culture balanced with disciplined approach to operational and business risk management.Â
2. Regional Strategy & LeadershipÂ
- Define and execute the APAC Client Services strategy, aligned to global HFS prioritiesÂ
- Establish vision, goals, and operating standards for the regional client service practiceÂ
- Lead initiatives to enhance:Â Â
- Service consistencyÂ
- Productivity and automationÂ
- Risk management and controlsÂ
- Drive adoption of global frameworks across APACÂ Â
3. Commercial & Growth AccountabilityÂ
- Partner with Relationship Management and Sales to:Â Â
- Drive revenue growth, cross-sell, and upsell opportunitiesÂ
- Develop client-specific commercial strategiesÂ
- Collaborate with Sales to build and extend stakeholder relationships in the marketÂ
- Own client profitability outcomes, including:Â Â
- Pricing disciplineÂ
- Cost transparencyÂ
- Margin expansion initiativesÂ
- Actively contribute to business development, market positioning, and industry engagementÂ
4. Leadership & Talent ManagementÂ
- Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing team of Relationship Managers and Client Service ManagersÂ
- Foster a culture of:Â Â

- Determine organizational design, capacity planning, and hiring strategyÂ
- Strengthen bench strength and succession planning across APACÂ
5. Operating Model & ExecutionÂ
- Optimize the regional service delivery model, leveraging global capabilities where appropriateÂ
- Drive initiatives to:Â Â
- Reduce manual processes and increase automationÂ
- Standardize workflows and proceduresÂ
- Enhance scalability of client servicingÂ
- Ensure seamless coordination between:Â Â
- Client servicesÂ
- Operations, fund accounting, and middle office teamsÂ
- Product and technology partnersÂ
6. Risk, Governance & ControlÂ
- Maintain strong oversight of:Â Â
- Operational risk, control frameworks, and regulatory obligationsÂ
- Client onboarding, AML/KYC processes, and audit readinessÂ
- Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and service level agreementsÂ
- Partner with Compliance, Risk, and Audit teams to proactively manage issuesÂ
7. Stakeholder Management & Global AlignmentÂ
- Act as the primary APAC Client Services leader, partnering with:Â Â
- Global Head of Relationship ManagementÂ
- Regional business leadershipÂ
- Product and operations counterpartsÂ
- Maintain a strong external presence with clients, consultants, and industry forumsÂ
Key QualificationsÂ
- Deep experience in alternatives administration, middle office, and/or asset servicingÂ
- Proven leadership of client-facing teams in a complex, global organizationÂ
- Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and profitabilityÂ
- Expertise in client relationship management and service delivery modelsÂ
- Strong understanding of APAC market dynamics and regulatory landscapeÂ
- Ability to lead cross-functional, global initiativesÂ
- Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skillsÂ
