About this role

Key Accountabilities

  • Drive the implementation and operation of security controls for on-premises and cloud infrastructure platforms in line with defined policies and standards / under guidance of the central security team
  • Execute security-related operational tasks such as system hardening, configuration checks and vulnerability remediation following established procedures.
  • Assist in administering identity and access management controls, including role assignments and privileged access under supervision.
  • Support security monitoring activities by reviewing alerts, logs, and findings and escalating issues as required.
  • Contribute to security incident response activities by collecting information, supporting analysis, and helping with documented corrective actions.
  • Assist with security assessments, reviews and compliance checks for on-premises infrastructure and cloud services.
  • Support audit activities by gathering evidence, maintaining documentation, and following defined security processes.
  • Work closely with infrastructure and cloud engineers to embed security requirements into changes and operational tasks.
  • Maintain security-related documentation, checklists, and operational runbooks relevant to on-premises Infrastructure & Cloud Platforms.
  • Continuously develop security and platform knowledge through training, hands-on experience, and guidance from senior colleagues.
  • Implement, monitor and report on DTX compliance and security requirements based on the defined policies and guidelines.

Education
University (Degree) in Computer Science / Informatics or related Engineering field.

Experience
Hands-on experience of at least 3 -5 years working in IT Service Delivery of an international, globally operating organization.

Knowledge and skills

  • Good knowledge and experience in applying information security principles to complex IT environments
  • Strong knowledge (certified) in Windows based systems and architecture including security aspects and common base services for backend services (data center)
  • Strong knowledge (certified) in Azure Cloud architecture and operation including security aspects
  • Strong and broad practical knowledge in actual IT (and preferably OT) technologies with a focus on
    • Cloud / Hybrid / on-premises environments
    • Virtualization technologies (Hyper-V)
  • Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, adaptability, and time-management skills preferred.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
