Your Impact as a Service Engineer:

As a Service Engineer – Automation & Informatics, you will be at the heart of our customer support mission. You will combine technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and customer focus to keep critical diagnostic systems running and help laboratories deliver life-changing results.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide advanced second-level technical support to internal Technical Solutions Center teams, QuidelOrtho Field Service Engineers, Field Application Specialists, and distributors to troubleshoot complex automation and informatics challenges.

  • Deliver remote expert assistance to hospitals and laboratories, including remote system access when required.

  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to:

    • Middleware solutions

    • Network connectivity

    • Automation tracks and mechanical systems

  • Use advanced troubleshooting methods and data analysis to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.

  • Collaborate with customers and internal teams across EMEA to ensure fast and sustainable resolution of technical issues.

  • Lead the escalation process for critical technical cases (“red alerts”) requiring additional expertise or on-site intervention.

  • Deliver advanced automation and informatics training to internal teams and customers.

  • Ensure compliance with cGMP, QSR, ISO, Qualiopi, and site-specific quality requirements.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying knowledge gaps and enhancing technical documentation and knowledge databases.

What You Bring:

You are a curious, solution-oriented professional who enjoys technology, teamwork, and making a real difference.

You have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Automation, Robotics, Chemistry, Biology, Science, Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Medical Laboratory Technology, or a related field.

  • Experience with laboratory systems, middleware solutions, or automation platforms.

  • Strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting capabilities.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to stay effective in complex, time-sensitive situations.

  • Knowledge of computer networking is an advantage.

  • Fluency in English is required; additional European languages are highly valued.

Votre impact en tant qu’Ingénieur(e) Service:

En tant qu’Ingénieur(e) Service – Automatisation & Informatique, vous serez au cœur de notre mission d’accompagnement client. Vous mettrez à profit votre expertise technique, vos capacités d’analyse et votre sens du service afin de garantir la performance de systèmes de diagnostic essentiels et permettre aux laboratoires de délivrer des résultats fiables qui changent des vies.

Vos missions principales seront :

  • Fournir un support technique avancĂ© de niveau 2 aux Ă©quipes internes du Technical Solutions Center, aux Ă©quipes terrain QuidelOrtho (IngĂ©nieurs Terrain, SpĂ©cialistes Applications, etc.) ainsi qu’aux distributeurs, afin de rĂ©soudre des problĂ©matiques complexes liĂ©es Ă  l’automatisation et Ă  l’informatique.

  • Assurer une assistance technique Ă  distance auprès des hĂ´pitaux et laboratoires clients, y compris la prise en main Ă  distance des systèmes lorsque nĂ©cessaire.

  • Diagnostiquer et rĂ©soudre des problĂ©matiques liĂ©es :

    • Aux solutions middleware

    • Aux rĂ©seaux et Ă  la connectivitĂ©

    • Aux chaĂ®nes d’automatisation et aux systèmes mĂ©caniques

  • Utiliser des mĂ©thodes avancĂ©es de dĂ©pannage et d’analyse de donnĂ©es afin d’identifier les causes racines et mettre en Ĺ“uvre des solutions efficaces.

  • Collaborer avec les clients et les Ă©quipes internes Ă  travers la rĂ©gion EMEA afin d’assurer une rĂ©solution rapide et durable des incidents techniques.

  • Piloter l’escalade des incidents critiques (« red alerts ») nĂ©cessitant une expertise complĂ©mentaire ou une intervention sur site.

  • Dispenser des formations avancĂ©es en automatisation et informatique auprès des Ă©quipes internes et des clients.

  • Garantir le respect des exigences cGMP, QSR, ISO, Qualiopi ainsi que des procĂ©dures qualitĂ© spĂ©cifiques au site.

  • Participer Ă  l’amĂ©lioration continue en identifiant les besoins en connaissances et en contribuant Ă  l’enrichissement de la documentation technique et des bases de connaissances.

Votre profil:

Vous êtes une personne curieuse, orientée solutions, qui apprécie la technologie, le travail en équipe et les missions ayant un véritable impact.

Vous possédez :

  • Un diplĂ´me de niveau Bac+3 Ă  Bac+5 en Automatisation, Robotique, Chimie, Biologie, Sciences, IngĂ©nierie, GĂ©nie biomĂ©dical, Technologie de laboratoire mĂ©dical ou domaine connexe.

  • Une expĂ©rience dans les systèmes de laboratoire, solutions middleware ou plateformes d’automatisation.

  • De solides capacitĂ©s d’analyse, de diagnostic et de rĂ©solution de problèmes.

  • D’excellentes compĂ©tences en communication et la capacitĂ© Ă  rester efficace dans des situations complexes et urgentes.

  • Des connaissances en rĂ©seaux informatiques seraient un atout.

  • La maĂ®trise de l’anglais est indispensable ; toute autre langue europĂ©enne est un plus.
