Medical Assistant Extern

San Mateo Podiatry Group is the most established foot and ankle surgical practice in Northern California, founded in 1917. We provide state of the art solutions to clients with foot and ankle problems. 

The practice is advertising availability for our Medical Assistant Externship Program.

Candidates MUST be currently enrolled and on track to complete an accredited program in Medical Assisting. On completion, candidates will be considered for employment within our clincial team as entry level Medical Assistants, who specialize in delivering exceptional patient care and customer service.

This is an hourly externship, and not a compensated position. Our company is a great team atmosphere and a modern, state of the art work environment.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and have expertise with patient intake and basic EMR charting, procedure setup, eprescribing and outbound referrals.
