Position Summary

PGA TOUR Superstore is hiring a Salesforce Solution Architect to own how our Salesforce platforms fit together: B2C Commerce (SFCC), Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, and Sales/Service Cloud. This is a cross-cloud architecture role, not a single-product specialist seat. You will define how Commerce, Marketing, Data Cloud, and CRM share identity, data, and events, and you will set the integration patterns and governance that the BT team and our delivery partners build against.

You will be the in-house Salesforce authority who can sit with merchandising, marketing, and engineering, translate business goals into a platform design, and then prove it works end to end. We are looking for an architect with genuine depth in at least two clouds, working fluency across the rest, and a proven track record of making them interoperate. The Salesforce Customer 360 / B2C Solution Architect skill set is exactly the profile this role targets.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Cross-Cloud Architecture and Data Flow:
  • Design end-to-end architecture: across SFCC (B2C Commerce), Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, and Sales/Service Cloud, defining how each system shares identity, profile, transactional, and behavioral data.
  • Identity and data model: establish unified customer identity, shared data models, naming conventions, and audience definitions so data stays consistent across every cloud.
  • Integration patterns: define and govern REST/SOAP, streaming, ETL/reverse-ETL, and middleware patterns connecting Salesforce platforms to each other and to non-Salesforce systems (POS, ERP/SAP, OMS, loyalty, analytics).
  • Data activation: own the path from source systems into Data Cloud and back out to activation channels (Marketing Cloud journeys, personalization, the storefront).
  • Platform Solution Design:
  • Translate business requirements: from merchandising, marketing, and operations into scalable, secure, high-performing technical designs across the Salesforce platform.
  • Produce architecture artifacts: solution blueprints, integration specifications, data-flow diagrams, and technical design documents that the engineering team and partners can build against.
  • Govern design and best practices: review architecture and integration work from in-house engineers and near/offshore partners. Provide best-practice guidance to the SFCC dev teams who own the storefront code.
  • Evaluate build vs. buy: assess AppExchange products, connectors, and emerging Salesforce capabilities (Data Cloud, Agentforce, personalization) and recommend what fits our roadmap.
  • Enablement Across Teams:
  • Serve as the in-house Salesforce authority: the person other teams come to for how the ecosystem should fit together.
  • Embed across multiple teams: work as a contributor within BT, the eCommerce team, marketing, and data groups, acting as the bridge that helps each get the best out of our Salesforce tools.
  • Communicate to every audience: translate complex concepts for both technical and executive stakeholders.
  • Share best practices: raise the Salesforce capability of the teams you work alongside and guide delivery partners toward consistent, reusable architecture.
  • Stay current: track the Salesforce roadmap (especially Data Cloud and AI/Agentforce) and bring forward enhancements that create measurable value.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 15+ years in enterprise technology roles, with 10+ years in a Salesforce solution or technical architecture capacity
  • Hands-on, production-grade depth in at least two Salesforce clouds, with working fluency across the others. Our priority clouds are B2C Commerce (SFCC), Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, and Sales/Service Cloud.
  • Proven cross-cloud integration experience: you have personally designed how Salesforce platforms exchange data with each other and with external systems (CRM, ERP, data lakes, ETL).
  • Strong data architecture skills: unified customer identity, data modeling, identity resolution, segmentation, and data governance.
  • Practical command of integration technology: REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, ETL and reverse-ETL tooling, and event-driven patterns.
  • Experience defining and enforcing data governance and privacy practices (consent, GDPR/CCPA-style requirements).
  • Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication: able to present architecture to both engineers and executives.

  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Salesforce B2C Solution Architect certification (the multi-cloud Customer 360 credential this role is built around), or Application Architect and System Architect certifications.
  • Cloud-specific certifications in B2C Commerce Architect, Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Integration/Data Architect.
  • Retail or eCommerce industry experience and familiarity with the supporting stack (POS, ERP/SAP, OMS, loyalty).
  • Experience with composable or headless commerce and with AI-driven personalization (Einstein, Agentforce).

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

  • Monday – Friday onsite, based out of our Roswell, GA Store Support Center. Flexibility to work extended and varied hours as needed.
  • Must be able to stand and/or sit for extended periods of time as the job is completed primarily at a desk each day. Variable desk heights are offered so alternatively sitting and/or standing at the desk is optional.
