Domain Consultant, SOC Transformation (CIS Region)

As a Domain Consultant for SOC Transformation, you will be the technical authority for the Cortex portfolio—our Next-Gen AI-powered security operations platform—across the CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) region. You will play a pivotal role in redefining how organizations in this territory manage threats, leveraging your expertise in Security Intelligence, XDR, Attack Surface Management, and XSOAR to establish Palo Alto Networks as their partner of choice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Solution Architecture: Collaborate with regional account teams to design and architect tailored security solutions. You will document High-Level Designs (HLD) and define key use cases to ensure seamless implementation and long-term value.

  • Technical Leadership & Evangelism: Present as the Cortex expert to stakeholders at all levels, from SOC practitioners to C-suite leadership. You will lead discussions on emerging security trends and the evolving threat landscape within the CIS market.

  • Technical Validation & PoVs: Scope and lead Proof of Value (PoV) projects, applying industry best practices to drive high technical win rates and ensure the unique value proposition of our platform is realized.

  • Competitive Positioning: Confidently navigate the competitive landscape, addressing rival offers with credibility and positioning Cortex as the superior alternative for modernizing security operations.

  • Deal Support: Serve as the primary technical point of contact for Cortex-specific inquiries, assisting account teams in responding effectively to RFIs/RFPs.

  • Ecosystem Development: Assist customers and regional partners in developing their service offerings around Cortex solutions, ensuring proper implementation through either Palo Alto Networks or partner-delivered services.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Industry Expertise: Proven experience in Security Operations (SOC) or Presales/Sales Engineering, specifically within SIEM, SOAR, XDR, and endpoint security environments.

  • SOC Process Knowledge: A deep, foundational understanding of SOC workflows, incident response lifecycles, and automation strategies.

  • Client-Centric Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills with a track record of building trust and delivering results for enterprise-level customers.

  • Communication: Exceptional presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex AI-driven security concepts into business value.

  • Technical Skills: * Solid understanding of cloud and on-premise security architectures.

Scripting experience is a significant advantage, with a preference for Python.

  • Regional Context: Familiarity with the cybersecurity landscape and regulatory environment within the CIS region is highly preferred.
