The Opportunity

The purpose of this role is to lead and support the delivery of business change. This involves analyzing designated areas to identify challenges, opportunities, and solutions, as well as partnering with stakeholders to enhance efficiency, growth, and problem-solving within the organization. Additionally, the role focuses on developing and enhancing a Business Analysis team, ensuring the successful execution of strategic initiatives through leadership and project delivery.

  • Location: Atlanta, GA; Boston, MA; Chicago, Il; Marblehead, MA; Plano, TX; Edina, MN; New York City, NY; or remote

  • Work Arrangement: This role is hybrid, where you will be expected to be in the office 2-3 days per week  

  • The salary range for this role is between $130,500-$195,500

Your new role

  • Drive the development and refinement of Business intelligence deliveries by analyzing business performance and prioritizing requests and resources.

  • Partner with appropriate business groups to identify business needs to enhance organizational performance.

  • Guide and influence business decision making by advising business groups on the interpretation of business insights and how to best leverage analytic findings.

  • Lead a performance enhancement culture by actively coaching and mentoring team members, providing feedback and contributing to team development.

  • Manage efficient team operations by prioritizing multiple complex tasks and adhering to project timelines to ensure alignment with key stakeholder objectives.

  • Ensure data integrity by reviewing data for report development, identifying and troubleshooting gaps and inconsistencies, and escalating as required.

  • Influence key data initiatives and data platform build to enable Business adoption.

  • Collaborate with data governance on the adoption and adherence to information standards and data quality enterprise-wide.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Preferred Competencies:

  • Business intelligence development experience in insurance or financial services.

  • People management experience in insurance or financial services.

  • Working knowledge of SAS, SQL, and MS Power BI.

  • Working knowledge of BI, visualization, and analytical reporting tools.

Compensation Package: The salary range for this role is provided above. This is the national range for location(s) listed. The salary offer will be decided based on the role's complexity, its location, and the candidate’s professional background, including their education and experience. Beyond the base salary, regular full-time and part-time employees will also be eligible for QBE’s annual discretionary bonus plan based on business and individual performance. We encourage all candidates to apply, even if their salary expectations fall outside of this range, as we are committed to finding the right fit for our team.
