About this role

This is a leadership and hands-on role to lead and drive marketing strategy and execution for Asia Pacific. This role will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that generate demand and sales growth, increase brand and technology awareness, and align with global sales & marketing objectives.

Responsibilities:

Market Intelligence and Strategic Planning

  • Analyze and share the regional bioprocessing market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate with the Product Management team, Business Leaders, and Commercial leaders in the development of effective marketing strategies and programs to drive growth and adoption of key product lines and solutions and generate high quality and qualified leads. 
  • Synthesize data and utilize AI-powered market intelligence tools to uncover actionable insights and predict emerging trends.

Strategic Marketing and Execution                                                                                                                               

  • Design and implement integrated marketing programs and calendar for trade shows, exhibitions, customer engagements, lunch & learn, webinars and digital marketing to increase market presence, generating new leads and reaching new customers.
  • Manage the regional marketing budget effectively, tracking performance and optimizing spending to maximize return on investment ROI.
  • Leverage AI and marketing automation platforms to segment audiences, personalize campaigns, and systematically improve lead generation, qualification, and conversion rates.

Content Strategy & Development

  • Lead the creation and optimization of marketing content (copywriting, videos, key visual, etc.), ensuring scientifically accurate, compliance with cultural and regulatory standards in different markets.
  • Explore and implement AI-assisted content tools to enhance scalability, message testing, and localization of marketing collateral.
  • Identify and work with marketing agencies and global marketing teams to deliver high-quality, practical marketing materials with a powerful value proposition and product differentiation to accelerate the reach and conversion.

Leadership and Innovation

  • Serve as a champion for marketing innovation, pilot-testing new AI and other solutions to enhance campaign effectiveness and operational efficiency.
  • May lead or contribute to strategic business operations projects as part of ongoing professional development.

Qualifications:

Education, Training & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, International Business or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of marketing experience in B2B life sciences marketing, experience in biopharma/bioprocessing industry, and Asia Pacific experience.
  • Good understanding of the 4P’s and have demonstrated experience in brand marketing, market/customer segmentation, value proposition development, competitive analysis, marketing communications, and digital and traditional Go-to-Market strategies in a highly innovative technical environment.

  • Strong leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to build strong, trust-based relations with customers and internal teams.
  • Self-starter with the ability to prioritize and work independently toward defined goals.
  • Strong creative perspective and experience working on a variety of marketing campaigns from inception to completion bringing fresh ideas to our marketing campaigns in a collaborative manner.
  • Able to work flexible hours to communicate with global functions.
  • Flexible on occasional business travel when needed.
  • Strong interest or proven experience in applying AI tools for analytics, lead scoring, and customer journey optimization.
