Senior Facilities Technician, 3rd Shift

The primary role of ResMed Facilities Management function is to efficiently support the operation of ResMed’s facilities so as to support day-to-day operations and to minimize operational downtime. This include providing safe, effective, efficient and responsive services to all areas of the business, covering facility and production. Â
Let’s talk about Responsibilities
You will supervise and manage facility related services to achieve the company’s goals and objectives with respect to:Â
- Responsible for day to day operations and monitoring of all facilities’ equipment to minimize downtime.Â
- Maintenance of building’s facilities operations and provide technical input on gaps/improvement.Â
- Carry out preventive maintenance for various mechanical & electrical equipment (s), but not limited to: Electrical Systems, Fire Protection and Detection Systems, HVAC Systems, Building Management System, Environment Monitoring System, Compressed Air Systems, Plumbing & Sanitary system, Security system and FM soft services.Â
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track and document preventive and reactive work.
- Carry out troubleshooting/repair to electrical and mechanical system, general building works as well as handyman tasks.Â
- Coordinate, supervise and follow-up closely with contractors on preventive maintenance and rectification to resolve facilities issues.Â
- Ensure preventive maintenance schedule of all facilities’ equipment is adhered and completed, which include contractors adhering and delivering their services.Â
- Conduct timely inspections of all facility & building equipment(s) and ensure it’s proper functionality.Â
- Ensure all facilities’ equipment that require license/permit are timely renewed.Â
- Prompt response to emergency calls in respect to facilities breakdown, that include after office hours presence to support operation and maintenance activities. 24/7 standby.Â
- Work closely with various function to meet quality, regulatory, safety, operation and maintenance requirement.Â
- Perform any other duties, responsibilities and projects as assigned.Â
- Works independently, likely to act as an informal resource for colleagues with less experience.
Let’s talk about Qualifications and Experience
Required:
- Minimum of 4 years of related experience.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree or training in a specialty trade (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, controls)
- Excellent Hands-on skills & experiences, with good technical knowledge of building operations, maintenance, and spares management.
- Proven technical experience including planning, supervising service providers/ contractors and achieving set target.
- Strong technical expertise and problem solving ability, in terms of facility Mechanical and Electrical systems.Â
- Working knowledge of GMP requirements and ISO13485, ISO14001 and ISO45001
