About this role
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Develops and implements strategic plans to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the admissions process
- Leads, motivates, and supervises the admissions team, providing training and development to enhance skills and performance
- Analyzes trends in applicant data to inform recruitment strategies and decision-making
- Collaborates with senior management and other departments to align admissions strategies with overall institutional goals
- Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and institutional regulations regarding student admissions
- Manages budget and resources, ensuring optimal use and reporting on financial statuses to higher management
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Knowledge of admissions processes, including understanding the procedures and requirements for processing applications
- Knowledge of student information systems
- Skill in project management, including planning, executing, and monitoring large-scale projects to meet timelines and deliverables
- Skill in leading and managing teams, driving collaboration, and achieving departmental and institutional goals
- Ability to manage complex operations and prioritize tasks effectively to meet both short-term and long-term organizational objectives
- Ability to adapt to changing needs and proactively address challenges, ensuring that operations remain effective and efficient under varying circumstances
Minimum Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- 5 years of relevant experience
- Equivalent combination of experience & education may be considered
