Supervisor, Admissions Operations

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Develops and implements strategic plans to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the admissions process
• Leads, motivates, and supervises the admissions team, providing training and development to enhance skills and performance
• Analyzes trends in applicant data to inform recruitment strategies and decision-making
• Collaborates with senior management and other departments to align admissions strategies with overall institutional goals
• Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and institutional regulations regarding student admissions
• Manages budget and resources, ensuring optimal use and reporting on financial statuses to higher management
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Knowledge of admissions processes, including understanding the procedures and requirements for processing applications
• Knowledge of student information systems
• Skill in project management, including planning, executing, and monitoring large-scale projects to meet timelines and deliverables
• Skill in leading and managing teams, driving collaboration, and achieving departmental and institutional goals
• Ability to manage complex operations and prioritize tasks effectively to meet both short-term and long-term organizational objectives
• Ability to adapt to changing needs and proactively address challenges, ensuring that operations remain effective and efficient under varying circumstances

Minimum Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in related field
• 5 years of relevant experience
• Equivalent combination of experience & education may be considered

Job Level Overview

Management and People Leadership Level 1 - Functions as a front-line supervisor of a work unit, focusing on supervising and setting day-to-day tasks for staff, maintaining schedules, checking work, and supporting daily services to ensure operational efficiency.

This hybrid position has expected office presence weekly.
