Senior Magento Developer (Trodo SIA / Latvija)

Role Description: 

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Senior Magento Developer to join our ecommerce engineering team. 

We build and improve our own long-term product: an international automotive parts ecommerce platform used across multiple markets. You will work alongside a highly experienced team on meaningful engineering challenges across storefront development, integrations, internal systems, back-office tooling, performance, architecture, and platform scalability. 

We care deeply about code quality, maintainability, and thoughtful technical decisions. AI tools are welcomed as productivity enhancers, not replacements for engineering judgment or ownership. 

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys:

• Writing maintainable, well-structured Magento code

Responsibilities: 

• Work with APIs, third-party libraries, and internal modules to enhance application capabilities 

• Ensure responsive, performance optimized and mobile-friendly designs 

• Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code. Test features thoroughly before submitting them for quality assurance 

• Collaborate with project managers, testers and other developers in the team 
    

Requirements: 

• 4+ years of prior experience working with Magento 

• Deep knowledge of PHP, JS, CSS, HTML and how the WEB works 

• Experience writing React or VueJS front-end applications 

• A good understanding of GraphQL, REST and other API technologies 

• Proficiency with Git / Version control 

• Understanding of SEO, performance optimization, and security best practices 

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail 

• Strong English language skills are required for working with software and developing solutions tailored for international audiences and users 

• Legal right to work and reside in Latvia
