Partners with marketing team members and internal creative resources to coordinate and manage weekly project activities, priorities, and marketing initiatives. The Project Manager applies project management best practices to support the planning, execution, and completion of projects while ensuring alignment with business priorities. Builds effective relationships with stakeholders and contributes to process improvements that enhance team efficiency and project delivery.
PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Partners with marketing team members and internal creative resources to coordinate and manage weekly project activities, priorities, and marketing initiatives. The Project Manager applies project management best practices to support the planning, execution, and completion of projects while ensuring alignment with business priorities. Builds effective relationships with stakeholders and contributes to process improvements that enhance team efficiency and project delivery.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
• Partners with marketing team members to coordinate project requests and support the planning of upcoming initiatives and campaigns.
• Manages the weekly flow of assigned projects by tracking priorities, deliverables, deadlines, and stakeholder expectations while ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Assists with project intake, scheduling, and resource coordination to support timely completion of work.
• Develops project timelines and manages tasks.
• Facilitates weekly communication between creative teams and marketing managers through project meetings, status updates, and project documentation.
• Identifies potential project risks and issues and escalates concerns appropriately while supporting mitigation efforts.
• Maintains project schedules, project status, and assigned resources within the team's work management platform.
• Coordinates adjustments to project timelines and priorities based on changing business needs and communicates impacts to stakeholders.
• Tracks project progress and provides weekly reporting to management regarding project status, workload, risks, and key milestones.
• Supports continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to enhance project workflows, communication processes, and team efficiency.
• Maintains a working knowledge of marketing priorities, business objectives, and organizational goals to effectively support project execution.
• Reviews project deliverables for completeness and alignment with stakeholder requirements prior to final approval.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Supports the organization's quality program(s).
• Travels as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Licensing
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business administration, project management, or a related field from an accredited college or university preferred.
Experience
Three (3) years of project management, project coordination, marketing operations, agency operations, or related experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience working in a marketing, creative, communications, or agency environment preferred.
Skills & Knowledge
• Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously.
• Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
• Experience using project management and collaboration tools such as Wrike, Asana, Monday.com, Workfront, Jira, or similar platforms.
• PC literate, including Microsoft Office products.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies.
