Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Pega Senior Engineer with a strong blend of technical expertise (70%) and business analysis capabilities (30%). The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Pega-based solutions while also bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
Technical (70%)
Design and develop Pega PRPC applications using best practices
Lead the development of case management, workflows, and decisioning solutions
Develop and maintain rules, integrations, and UI components in Pega
Ensure scalability, performance, and security of Pega applications
Integrate Pega with external systems via REST, SOAP, APIs, and messaging systems
Troubleshoot production issues and provide technical support
Conduct code reviews and enforce development standards
Work with CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies
Business Analysis (30%)
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements
Translate business needs into technical specifications and solutions
Collaborate with stakeholders to define process flows and system enhancements
Conduct workshops and requirement discussions with business teams
Support UAT, ensuring solutions meet business expectations
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
10–12 years of IT experience with minimum 5+ years in Pega development
Strong experience in Pega PRPC (7.x/8.x)
Deep understanding of Pega frameworks (Case Management, Decisioning)
Experience with integration technologies (REST, SOAP, APIs)
Good knowledge of database concepts and SQL
Hands-on experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) or CLSA certification
Experience in BPM and CRM solutions
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools
Knowledge of microservices architecture
