Summary of Primary Functions: Responsible for erection of Tindall products based on Engineering plan specifications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: All employees are required to follow all Safety and Quality rules and processes to ensure a safe working environment, and the delivery of high-quality field services.
Knowledgeable in the precast erection process and able to support Superintendents in a fast-paced construction environment.
Provides guidance and training to Field Superintendents in the development of the erection and Field Services process plan, including personnel requirements, material needs, subcontract requirements, facility needs, and equipment needs.
Support Field Superintendents in coordination of erection and field service activities with all other functions of the organization and supplies to obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources, machines, and equipment.
Performs administrative activities associated with effective management of field operations.
Determines responsibilities of assigned organization and staff positions to accomplish business objectives.
Plans for and schedules sub-contractors.
Provides input in research and development of new and emerging products.
Trains and ensures all assigned employees are aware of and comply with company, government, and customer policies, procedures, and regulations.
Ensures all established costs, quality, and delivery commitments are met.
Provides input to the development of strategic plan of erection division.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Field Superintendents and / or Subcontractors.
Job Specifications or Qualifications:
Certificates, Licenses, Registration: OSHA 30 Certifications preferred.
Education: College Degree (4 year) preferred experience
Experience: 5 to 7 years of precast experience is preferred.
Supervisory Experience: 3 to 5 (+) years is required.
Physical Demands: The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and seldom more.
Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions, wet and/or humid conditions and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is often loud.
Travel Required: Employee will travel 3 days/week for day trips to job sites and occasionally will have to travel out of town for job sites.
