Job Description:
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The primary function of a Recruiting Administrative Assistant is to assist Driver Recruiters by working with candidates and employment verifications.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
⢠Verifying the employment of applicants via fax, phone or other required online tools
⢠Running MVR and DAC and other background reports of applicants
⢠Verifying accuracy of information on driver applications
⢠Weekly audits of drivers files to meet DOT requirements
⢠Heavy data entry of driver applications
⢠Other administrative duties and special projects as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
⢠Associates degree in business preferred and/or equivalent work experience
⢠At least one year of administrative support experience preferred
⢠Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word and Excel)
⢠Internet savvy ā ability to search/research for information as necessary
⢠Excellent typing and data entry skills required
⢠Ability to plan and organize, attention to detail, problem-solving skills
⢠Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced work environment
⢠Must have the ability to work alone or in a team environment
⢠Excellent oral and written communication skills needed
⢠Possess courteous, yet assertive telephone personality
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: The physical requirements and work environment described are representative of those present while performing the essential functions of this job.
⢠Must be able to sit and use telephone and computer, simultaneously, for extended periods of time
⢠Must be able to speak and hear clearly in a high volume telephone environment
