TMC Transportation has an immediate full-time opening for a Securement Equipment Coordinator working out of our office in Columbia, S.C.
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The primary function of a Securement Equipment Coordinator is to maintain all load securement equipment and make sure that it is in good working condition and ready to go at all times.
SHIFT: Monday - Friday, 9am - 6pm
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Account and track all Load Securement items such as: tarps, straps, chains, binders, etc.
Pre-stock all truck and trailers that are available for the new releases
Keep the shop area clean and up to TMC standards at all times
Patch and repair tarps
Other duties as assigned, use fork lift ( can train on site )
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma preferred
Must be able to follow detailed instructions
Ability to function in a fast-paced work environment
Drivers license
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Must be able to stand and bend for extended periods of time
Must be quality driven
Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds
