🙌The role

Boundless Education is transforming current systems of education. Our educational concept empowers all students to explore their natural creativity, discover their true passions, and shape their own future. We apply competency-based and skill-based assessment through place-based experiential learning, supportively led by teachers as mentors.

We are seeking passionate, dedicated educators to join our 13–14-year-old Trailblazer group across our three locations. We are hiring for two distinct but complementary roles:

Lead Educator
— Owns the overall learning design, programme delivery, and classroom culture. Leads the educator partnership and mentors the Support Educator.

Support Educator
— Partners with the Lead Educator to deliver high-quality, inclusive learning experiences. Leads small-group instruction, reinforces systems, and ensures every student can access the curriculum.

These are fixed-location roles — not traveling teacher positions.

Primary Responsibilities

Learning Support & Facilitation

For Lead Educator

Design rigorous, standards-aligned interdisciplinary PBL units with explicit scaffolding for executive functioning

  • Facilitate student discourse using Socratic seminars, debate, and critique protocols
  • Use formative assessment continuously and build meaningful feedback cycles, rubrics, and exhibitions of learning
  • Integrate literacy across disciplines while keeping projects engaging and academically deep
  • Map the curriculum calendar, manage pacing, and ensure launch readiness

Student Well-being & Environment

For Lead Educator

  • Build advisory-style relationships with adolescents; understand identity development and social dynamics
  • Handle emotional volatility calmly, set firm boundaries without power struggles, and see behaviour as communication
  • Take ownership of classroom culture and communicate proactively with families

Both Roles

  • Foster a culture of belonging by modelling social skills and providing mentorship in academic and social-emotional development
  • Act as an advocate for students with academic, social-emotional, or behavioural concerns
  • Supervise and guide students during break and meal times and off-campus place-based learning
  • Contribute to planning sessions and brainstorming for interdisciplinary projects and experiential learning

Operational Support

For Lead Educator

  • Mentor the Support Educator intentionally — give and receive feedback professionally
  • Proactively identify gaps in the programme and solve them with a systems mindset
  • Work collaboratively with the curriculum team and lead joint planning sessions

For Support Educator

  • Step in to cover the Lead Educator during absences, ensuring continuity in the learning experience
  • Assist with classroom organisation, setup, and cleanup to maintain an effective environment
  • Support administrative tasks and ensure learning resources are available as needed
  • Collaborate respectfully, follow through reliably, and communicate directly with colleagues

For Support Educator

  • Assist the Lead Educator in delivering engaging, personalized learning experiences for students aged 13–14
  • Run targeted workshops independently (math, literacy, research, writing) and lead small-group instruction
  • Monitor and assess student progress, feeding input back to the Lead Educator to adjust teaching methods
  • Provide actionable feedback on student work and support struggling learners without stigma
  • Bring local culture to life in the classroom and beyond, assisting with language and place-based learning
