What you’ll own
- Drive accurate and timely financial reporting by maintaining the integrity of accounting records, reconciliations and month end close activities.
- Own general ledger account reconciliations, identifying variances, resolving discrepancies and delivering insights that strengthen financial accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), regulatory requirements and Global Payments policies, protecting the quality and reliability of financial information.
- Build strong partnerships across the business to deepen understanding of operational processes and improve financial visibility.
- Influence continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance accounting processes, strengthen controls and increase efficiency.
- Deliver high quality journal entries and financial analyses that support informed decision making and business performance.
- Contribute to successful quarter end and year end audit outcomes through accurate documentation, preparation and financial transparency.
- Take ownership of priorities in a fast paced environment, balancing multiple deadlines while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Knowledge of public accounting principles and practices, with a strong understanding of financial reporting fundamentals.
- Experience analyzing financial information, solving complex problems and applying sound judgment to achieve accurate outcomes.
- Strong communication and relationship building skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and functions.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and deliver high quality results in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
- A proactive, detail oriented and results driven mindset, with a commitment to continuous improvement and accountability.
 

It’s a bonus if you have:
- Experience using Oracle Financial software to drive efficient financial management and reporting.
- Knowledge of the payments, credit card processing or bankcard industry, with an understanding of the financial processes that support commerce.
- Experience in general ledger accounting, with a track record of delivering accurate reconciliations, financial analysis and month end close results.
