What you’ll own

• Develop, design, code, debug, maintain, test, implement, and validate applications throughout the software development lifecycle using both front-end and back-end programming languages across multiple platforms

• Analyze existing applications and formulate logic for new applications, including procedures, flowcharting, coding, debugging, and maintaining application and programming documentation

• Design, create, and deliver moderately complex program specifications while aligning application and database interactions to support multiple projects and software solutions

• Perform and advise on testing, validation requirements, and corrective measures for complex code deficiencies, while providing systemic proposals to improve application performance and reliability

• Collaborate with business, technology teams, clients, and partners to determine solution approaches and provide guidance on application standards, compliance, and infrastructure design

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business / Management Information Systems or related field

•  Minimum 6 years professional experience in coding, designing, developing, and analyzing data

• Advanced knowledge and use of two or more front-end and back-end languages/technologies, including modern programming languages, APIs, external services, and both relational and NoSQL databases

• Ability to analyze, modify, and develop complex code with strong understanding of testing, validation, and application documentation

• Demonstrated ability to apply in-depth knowledge of procedures, methodologies, and application standards, including compliance requirements such as PCI security

It’s a bonus if you have

• 8+ years professional experience in coding, designing, developing, and analyzing data and experience with IBM Rational Tools

• Experience working across multiple operating systems, development tools, and frameworks in complex environments
