About the role

The Onboarding Specialist plays a pivotal role in shaping the first impression of a client’s journey with Global Payments. You will be responsible for the accurate and timely setup, data entry, and ongoing maintenance of merchant accounts across our eWAY and Ezidebit platforms, ensuring every interaction reflects our commitment to a seamless and high-quality customer experience.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about client experience, thrives on attention to detail, and is confident navigating onboarding processes and systems. You will act as a trusted partner to customers, supporting them through the onboarding journey while ensuring compliance standards and operational excellence are consistently met.

Salary

The salary for this position is 70,000 + superannuation.

What You’ll Own

  • Guide customers through onboarding via inbound and outbound calls, removing roadblocks and driving account activation
  • Set up and maintain merchant accounts across eWAY and Ezidebit, ensuring accuracy in applications, updates, and changes
  • Perform compliance checks and follow Credit/Risk guidelines to meet regulatory and documentation standards
  • Manage onboarding workflows, prioritise tasks, and support urgent requests to deliver a seamless customer experience
  • Collaborate across teams and support Revenue initiatives through client follow-ups, documentation, and activation strategies
