Delivery Manager 


Job Summary


The DataXstream Delivery Manager leads the planning and delivery of our OMS+ suite of products for our customers and manages internal projects as needed. This role requires a strong understanding of SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) processes, direct experience with SAP implementations, and in-depth project management expertise for large-scale SAP ERP implementations. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to guide cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, client-facing environment and drive the successful execution of complex enterprise projects. 


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Drive the full lifecycle of OMS+ implementation projects from planning through go-live. 
  • Manage internal projects that support strategic initiatives and operational improvements. 
  • Collaborate with customers to define scope, timelines, budgets, and success metrics. 
  • Lead project teams, coordinate resources, and ensure timely delivery of milestones. 
  • Act as the primary client contact, maintaining alignment and resolving issues proactively. 
  • Apply SAP SD knowledge to ensure design, configuration, and solution alignment. 
  • Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and performance using tools like Jira and Tempo. 
  • Support SOW creation process as required. 
  • Continuously contribute to improving project methodologies, documentation, and best practices. 
  • Ensure cross-functional collaboration by aligning Product, Development, and Delivery teams to meet project objectives and customer expectations. 
  • Manage post go-live phases, including defect resolution, enhancement prioritization, and coordination of updates to ensure continued client satisfaction and system performance. 
  • Facilitate a seamless transition of customers from the Delivery team to the AMS (Application Management Services) team, ensuring proper knowledge transfer, documentation, and support readiness. 
  • Provide weekly internal status updates that highlight key accomplishments, track project metrics, outline upcoming work, and summarize active risks and issues to maintain transparency and alignment. 
  • Develop and demonstrate an understanding of the customer’s business, how OMS+ products will drive value for their business, and partner with all project resources to ensure the team is aligned toward successful delivery. 
  • Track and report on key project budget metrics no less than once a month. This includes comparing actual hours worked against the budget and re-forecasting hours as needed. 


Required Qualifications: 

  • Minimum 10 years of project delivery experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role. 
  • Demonstrated success in delivering SAP-related enterprise software projects. 
  • In-depth knowledge of project management best practices and methodologies for large-scale SAP ERP projects. 
  • Knowledge of SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) processes. 
  • Strong project management capabilities: scope, budget, timeline, and resource control. 
  • Excellent communication, client management, and problem-solving skills. 
  • Experience with Jira or comparable project tracking tools. 
  • Willingness to travel as necessary. 


Preferred Qualifications: 

  • SAP SD certification and/or PMP certification, or equivalent experience. 
  • Familiarity with Project Management and/or SAP Activate methodologies. 
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, or SAP Analytics Cloud. 
  • Industry-specific knowledge in wholesale distribution, logistics, or retail.
