Millwork Machine Maintenance Technician to keep our Nicewood plant running smoothly and safely.
What You’ll Do:
- Perform preventive maintenance on machinery, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Respond quickly to work orders, troubleshooting and repairing equipment to minimize downtime.
- Safely handle and dispose of materials/fluids, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and a clean, organized workspace.
- Collaborate with the Plant Manager to recommend equipment upgrades.
- Support facility needs, from routine checks to minor repairs, in a dynamic millwork environment.
Who You Are:
- 2+ years in facility maintenance or industrial mechanics (millwork/woodworking machinery experience a plus).
- Skilled in diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems (PLC knowledge preferred).
- Familiar with OSHA standards and environmental regulations.
- Proficient with Android/iPhone, iPad, computers, and Microsoft Excel.
- Hold a valid driver’s license; 30-hour OSHA training required within 30 days (HVAC/electrical certifications a plus).
- Adaptable, safety-focused, and able to work in varied conditions (dust, noise, temperature extremes).
