About this role

Who We Are

Verily Health is a data platform and technology company purpose-built to power AI-enabled precision health solutions that accelerate research and improve care for individuals and communities. Uniquely positioned at the intersection of technology, data science, and healthcare, Verily transforms multimodal health data into insights, models, and actions that make healthcare more personalized, predictive, and precise.

Description

Verily Me is our consumer health application, reimagining how individuals access care, understand their health, and get personalized health recommendations from our team of registered clinicians. We are looking for a talented UX designer to transform fragmented health data into a personalized, longitudinal care journey that empowers individuals to navigate their health with confidence. You will join the Participant UX team of designers, researchers, behavioral scientists, and content strategists to help drive the next phase of the product's growth. Collaborating closely with product managers, software engineers, and data scientists, as well as clinicians, you will drive the end-to-end design process for a mix of projects. This ranges from discovery through to detailed execution, with the opportunity to distill complex problems into simple, beautiful, and powerful interfaces.

Responsibilities

  • Design and iterate on delightful, consumer-oriented features that simplify complex health data, drive behavior change, and encourage engagement.

  • Translate user research and analytics into scalable design frameworks and service blueprints that evolve the core product and create a continuous feedback loop between program insights and the platform.

  • Lead work streams within projects, exercising considerable judgment to translate clinical and technical requirements into intuitive, beautiful interfaces.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, and clinicians to align on project execution and ensure high-quality implementation.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Outstanding portfolio demonstrating work across the end-to-end design process, from conceptual foundations to refined details.

  • Bachelor's degree in UX Design, HCI, Interaction Design, or related field with 3+ years of professional UX experience.

  • Proven ability to work independently to define a strategy and solution for a product or feature by bridging user needs with requirements to ensure a cohesive and trustworthy end-to-end experience.

  • Proficiency in Figma and a deep understanding of designing accessible, responsive web and mobile applications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Expertise in Consumer UI/Product Design, specifically in building scalable design systems and data-heavy interfaces.

  • Familiarity with AI prototyping tools (e.g., V0, Cursor)

  • Experience in Service Design or Behavioral Science, with a focus on healthcare program design or clinical research.

  • Strong background in healthcare, medical services, or experience bringing complex regulated consumer products to launch in a commercial market.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a reputation for effectively communicating technological processes and objectives to stakeholders.
