3D Architectural Animator

Summary of the role:

The Architectural 3D Animator is responsible for creating high-quality 3D architectural animations and engaging video content that showcase the company's projects and brand. This role combines architectural visualization, video editing, and digital content creation to produce project presentations, social media content, marketing videos, and interviews while ensuring content is visually compelling and aligned with current industry and social media trends.

Key responsibilities:

• Create high-quality 3D architectural animations, including walkthroughs, flythroughs, and cinematic project visualizations from architectural models.
• Animate still renderings and images using AI-powered tools to enhance visual storytelling and project presentations.
• Develop storyboards, animation concepts, and visual narratives tailored to project objectives and target audiences.
• Manage the complete architectural visualization workflow, including modelling, texturing, lighting, rendering, and post-production.
• Produce and edit engaging video content for multiple platforms, including YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and the company website.
• Create project launch, marketing, and promotional videos that effectively communicate design concepts and project value.
• Edit on-site footage, interviews, and project documentation videos, incorporating motion graphics, maps, project imagery, and other visual elements.
• Apply professional editing techniques, including transitions, color grading, visual effects, sound synchronization, and on-screen graphics to deliver polished content.
• Monitor and leverage emerging content trends, platform best practices, and new technologies to enhance audience engagement.
• Collaborate closely with architects, designers, and marketing teams to ensure visual accuracy, creative consistency, and alignment with project objectives.
• Maintain brand consistency and ensure all visual content meets established quality, creative, and technical standards.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high production quality.
• Stay informed on the latest trends, materials and technology in the industry to keep our projects at the forefront of innovation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Multimedia, Animation, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in 3D architectural animation and professional video editing.
• A strong portfolio that demonstrates both cinematic architectural animations and engaging video content across platforms.
  

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• 3D software: 3ds Max, Blender, Cinema 4D, or Unreal Engine.
• Video editing: Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent.
• Rendering engines: V-Ray, Corona, Lumion, or Twin motion.
• AI animation & motion tools are a plus.
• Solid grasp of animation principles, cinematic composition, and visual storytelling.
• Fluency in current social media content trends and platform-specific best practices.
• Strong attention to detail, creative judgment, and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
• Good communication and teamwork skills; comfortable working across disciplines.
• Good written and spoken English.
