Role Description:

The Senior Manager, Colleague Communications is responsible for developing and executing the enterprise-wide colleague communications strategy, ensuring alignment with business priorities, employee engagement efforts, and leadership messaging. This role plays a pivotal part in supporting Zoetis’ strategic imperative to create a high-performing organization by shaping the colleague experience and ensuring alignment across all internal communication channels.

As an individual contributor, this role drives enterprise-wide colleague communications and partners directly with key stakeholders across the business. Additionally, this role supports communications for the Human Resources function. Working alongside the Sr. Director, Enterprise & Transformation Communications, this person will help collaborate with HR and Business leaders to shape internal messaging, and engagement strategies.

The Senior Manager will support initiatives to retain and develop, and through support of our EVP recruit top talent; foster a culture of inclusion and well-being; support change management efforts; empower leaders with communication tools; and champion the Core Beliefs of Zoetis. This role will also manage and support strategic internal initiatives, including:

  • Enterprise-Wide Colleague Communications Strategy, Planning & Execution
  • Tools, Playbooks, and Templates for enterprise communications
  • Enterprise-Wide Content & Editorial Planning
  • Channel Mapping for Internal Communications Tools

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a colleague communications strategy and plan that enhances engagement, aligns with business priorities, and ensures clear, inclusive messaging across all internal audiences. This includes defining the Colleague Brand Story, optimizing communication channels, creating toolkits for enterprise led initiatives, and tailoring strategies for diverse workforce segments.
  • Support HR leadership in driving communications, transformation, and engagement strategies, contributing to executive communications for the CHRO to ensure impactful, aligned messaging. This includes supporting Colleague Resource Group (CRG) and HR Functional communications needs as needed.
  • Support the execution of global town halls which includes agenda creation, video editing, and running meeting logistics in partnership with site events team and the Sr. Director, Enterprise & Transformation Communications.
  • Management of all colleague communications flow and weekly communications. Oversight of the intranet and editorial for the weekly email to all colleagues. This will also include management of a calendar for any all colleague messaging.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 7–10 years of experience in corporate communications, internal communications, or colleague engagement.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute enterprise-wide colleague communication strategies as a strong individual contributor.
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with an ability to simplify complex topics into clear, engaging narratives.
  • Knowledge of internal communication platforms and digital collaboration tools (e.g., Viva Engage, SharePoint, intranet CMS).
  • Experience working in a global organization or matrixed corporate environment.
  • Strong understanding of employee engagement, organizational change management, and leadership communications.
  • Proficiency in developing toolkits, templates, and best practice frameworks for leader activation.
  • Ability to execute communications strategy, leveraging resources across Corporate Communications, HR, and business functions without direct reporting authority.
  • Strong project management, relationship management, and execution skills.
  • Ability to prioritize competing needs in a fast-paced environment and drive alignment across multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to stay current on industry trends, Zoetis’ employee experience, and external best practices.

 

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $146,000.00 - $209,000.00. Our salary ranges are

determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the base pay target range

for new hire salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional

factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

 

This position is also eligible for short-term incentive compensation
