CAPSTAN Hauling, a diversified, trucking company (acquired by LAPRAIRIE Group of Companies) is recruiting full-time Boom Truck Drivers with lowbed and winch truck operating experience, who are local to the Lloydminster, Alberta area.

Responsibilities:
Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Operate a winch truck to winch load and unload equipment as required.
- Haul customer commodities with various multi-axle trailer configurations, including lowbed trucks.
- Operate a Boom Truck to hoist and transport commodities.
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment and complete daily inspection reports.
- Adhere to Hours of Service and Logbook Regulations.
- Adhere to daily schedules set out by Dispatch & Supervisors.
- Complete daily paperwork / reporting accurately and on time.
- Promote safety culture and adhere to HSE policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized truck.
- Report all equipment repairs and maintenance requests to the Shop lead and Dispatch.
Skills and Requirements:
- Must hold a valid Class 1 Driver’s License.
- Must be a certified Boom Truck Operator.
- 3-5 years on/off highway driving experience.
- Must have equipment hauling experience.
- Must have winch and lowbed truck operating experience.
- Must have experience pulling 32-to-48-wheel Trailer configurations.
- Availability to work rotational shifts, including days and nights.
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
- Solid communication skills and ability to work in a team setting and alone as required.
- Ability to navigate work sites and adapt to daily changes in scopes of work.
- Acceptable drivers abstract (5 years minimum).
