Hours: 6 hours per day, Monday to Friday

We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Technical Records Clerk for a temporary 6-month fixed term role.

Role Overview:

The Technical Records Clerk will support the Director of Airworthiness by performing essential administrative tasks to support the management of aircraft technical data and records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily Technical Log Management: Verify technical log data on a daily basis and file both soft copy and hard copy formats as required.
  • Work Package Record Review and Filing: Verify work orders have been completed correctly, scanned and filed in both soft copy and hard copy formats.
  • Records Archiving: Manage off-site hard copy records storage as required.
  • Airside Driving: Drive airside as needed to collect and update hard copy documents from the Auckland hangar and aircraft.
  • NZCAA Log Books: Update the New Zealand Civil Aviation Authority log books on a regular basis to ensure that data is kept current and accurate, and that regulatory requirements are maintained.
  • Technical Data Control and Management: Manage the storage and distribution of technical data, including records, publications, manuals and certificates.
  • Technical Data Preparation: Support the Director of Airworthiness with preparation of revisions to technical data, including publications and manuals.
  • Airworthiness Administrative Tasks: Perform various administrative tasks to support airworthiness functions as requested from time to time.

Requirements:

  • Ability to manage and verify technical data accurately.
  • Valid airside driving permit or the ability to obtain one.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with aviation technical data and technical records administrative processes.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Excellent computer literacy.
