Role Overview



This role is critical for driving sales growth by serving as the primary technical liaison for customers and the sales team. Its mission is to translate complex customer requirements into compelling and executable technical solutions across our multi-country network platform. The Senior Pre-sales Engineer will drive structured solution design, technical account engagement, and proposal generation—directly enabling our next stage of regional expansion.



About the Role



You will design, present, and price technical strategies across our portfolio, including IP Transit, DIA, MPLS, EPL, Wave, and Submarine capacity. You will work directly with Account Managers, Product Managers, and Network Engineers to understand technical blockers, define requirements, and present the business case for solutions. This is a strategic and highly technical role in a fast-paced, multicultural environment, requiring exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.



Location & Language



  • Location: Global (Remote), supporting LATAM time zones.
  • Time zones: GMT-5, GMT-4, or GMT-3 strongly preferred for regional coverage.
  • Advanced English (C1+) required;


Core Responsibilities



  • Serve as the primary technical liaison for Account Managers, customers, pricing, and Network Operations.
  • Identify technical solutions and define detailed requirements for service implementation, understanding customers’ existing solutions, locations, and technical needs.
  • Collaborate across teams (Sales, Carrier Relations, Product, Engineering) to develop technical solutions aligned with EdgeUno’s strategic goals.
  • Drive technical qualification of business opportunities, identifying and resolving key customer technical objections.
  • Create and present technical proposals/solutions in a complete, well-illustrated, and compelling fashion.
  • Build key technical relationships with major customers to solidify reference accounts and assist with account growth plans.
  • Lead the internal and external Kickoff Meetings for all closed deals.
  • Lead the entire pricing process for all assigned opportunities and leads.
  • Present and demonstrate the technical capabilities of the EdgeUno portfolio.
  • Frame product issues for discussion and resolution with Product and Engineering teams.
  • Contribute to RFPs, RFIs, and Bids with technical accuracy and clarity.



Requirements



  • Minimum 5 years of related sales support/Pre-sales experience in the Telecom or Digital Infrastructure sector.
  • Deep technical understanding of general connectivity products (IP Transit, DIA, MPLS, EPL, Wave, Submarine capacity).
  • Proven ability to "see the big picture," architecting solutions to solve customer business challenges.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and professional communications skills in English (verbal and written).
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Telecommunications, or a similar technical field.
  • Customer-focused, highly disciplined, and results-oriented.
  • Willingness to work in a rapid, fast-paced, and execution-driven environment.
